Diana Jungle (Finished)

Diana is a tanky Ability Power champion, who has an AMAZING kit. She is a multi-role champion, excelling best in the top, mid lane and jungle. This guide's purpose is to aid you in building Diana, and hopefully play her successfully in the jungle.

Diana gains 20% bonus attack speed. In addition, every third basic attack cleaves nearby enemies for 20 damage at level 1, and 250 at level 18(+ 60% AP) additional magic damage.

Abilities:

Q: Crescent Strike

Active: Diana unleashes a bolt of lunar energy that travels in an arc. Enemies struck take magic damage and are afflicted with Moonlight, revealing them for 3 seconds.

W: Pale Cascade

Active: Diana gains a shield for 5 seconds that absorbs incoming damage. She also creates three spheres that orbit her for up to 5 seconds. The spheres detonate on contact with an enemy unit, dealing magic damage to all nearby enemies.

If all three spheres detonate, the shield is reapplied and the duration is refreshed. This second shield stacks with the original shield.

E: Moon Fall

Active: Diana draws in nearby enemies to her location, slowing them for 2 seconds afterwards.

R: Lunar Rush

Active: Diana becomes the living embodiment of the vengeful moon, rushing at an enemy and dealing magic damage to it.

When used to teleport to an enemy afflicted with Moonlight, Lunar Rush's cooldown is refreshed and the Moonlight debuff is consumed. All other enemies will have the Moonlight debuff removed regardless of whether they were the target of Lunar Rush.

Strategy:

So, to begin, I will explain the jungle path I use on Diana. I almost always start with blue, especially if I am solo queue. From their I move to wolves, wraiths, Red and finally golems. Diana has great clear, as her Q and W both do damage to multiple targets, as does her passive. because of this, you will usually be able to gank earlier than some other junglers.

When jungling Start with your Q, then your W. Honestly, since your E does not do any damage, I do not put a point in it until I hit level 4 and start ganking. As for ability maxing, I usually max Q first. however, in some cases, when your lanes have a ton of CC and stuns, you can max your W. Always max your E last, and put a point in your Ult whenever it is available.

Ganking with Diana is pretty easy, Pre-level six tell your lanes to let the enemy push up, and try and run in directly behind them. Its usually a good Idea to activate your W immediately before you come into their vision, this way your shield will tank the first few hits they may try on you, and it will be all ready to do damage as soon as possible. Don't forget to use your E and knock them back towards you as they try to escape,and be mindful of its range (often feels larger than it is.) another tip for jungling as any champion is to Ping on the champion you want to attack, and tell the lane you intend to gank you are coming with a ping or in chat. I can't tell you how many times ganks fail, or even end up getting the jungler killed as he runs in and the lane does not know he is doing so.

After Level 6 ganking is extremely easy. Land your Q on the target, pop your W and immediately rush towards them with your Ult. while you wait for your Q to come off of cool down, attack that mother fucker like there is no tomorrow. You need to stick onto the champion as much as possible and get your auto attacks off, especially if you have your lichbane and want to maximize damage dealt with it. If they are beginning to escape, throw your E and knock them back towards you. In most cases, you can execute the enemy at this point with your Ult, ALWAYS try and get your Q off before using your Ult unless your are POSITIVE they will die. Sometimes if you use your ult on someone without applying your Q, they will escape with a tiny bit of health, and a kill that could have been easily secured with a second ult is lost due to cooldown.

In the Late game, your job is primarily destroying the enemy teams carries in team fights. this is really easy with your ult. if a team fight is occurring or about to occur, Q and ult to their ADC or APC. spam off all of your damage abilities/actives to try and kill the carry. Zhonyas is really helpful in this tactic, as their team will try and peel you off asap. Q-R-ing to the carry, taking them out, and then activating Zhyonas Hourglass will often Save your life, waste the enemy team's abilities, and give your team an opportunity to rush in and pick off the rest of the team.

Tips:
-Diana's ult is great for escaping a chase at low health. If you are in the jungle being chased by their team, use your Q on a camp and ult to it. This will save your life, give you more time to position, and if they are really thirsty, burn their flashes

-Diana is great at diving, especially mid lane as she can Kill the champion, and Q-R to the wraith camp to escape turret shots.

-Diana is a very mana intensive jungle. Try and stay on top of stealing their blue buff (both blue and red are up every 6 minutes.) In some cases, you might want to buy a chalice of harmony and build that into an Athene's unholy Grail. Diana is a great jungle pick if your midlane will not require blue buff (Someone like Akali, Zed or Kennen)

-Counter Jungle like a madman. Your Q allows you to see if enemy buff's are up forma safe distance, and also provides some pretty good escape if you get caught.

-Check bushes with your Q. it will reveal any champions within them forma safe distance.

Nashors tooth (I feel like I spelt that wrong) aside for being an amazing item for teemo is something I use on Diana for her passive

EDIT: If you go jungle I personally just sell the hunters machete because I don't find it useful for Diana but I you want Tanky you should build the spirit of the ancient golem or if you want ap/spell vamp the spectral wraith is ok

Nahsors tooth is an ok item but it relies on her auto attack. personally I prefer lichbane, it offers alot more damage and fits her QR combo well.
